Birds of a feather

I went to see the play La Musica at the Young Vic, it was a story about a couple who meet to finalise their divorce. They reunited in a hotel lobby and reminisce of the past which brings up moments of love and also resentment, to me depicted the natural emotional roller coaster felt by a people who were once in love. The actors sat on a risen stage with their backs towards the stage, a camera zoom in to both their faces and it was projected on to a large screen highlighting their conversation and individual facial expressions. Ghostly electronic distorted music played during the performance highlighting their connection, it was a promenade performance meaning we had to move from our seats and stand for 30 minutes of the performance, I really enjoyed this interactiveness. I then had dinner at GBK they gave us a generous serving of my favourite Onion rings hmm yum!
I wore my favourite high neck crop top paired with these Culottes I designed for Birds Of Chona - my sister brand with my cousins, I love them so much although when I first tried them on about a year ago I almost cried haha. I love the fabric which is Ankara (african fabric) the vibrant orange flowers against the grey/navy back drop gives it so much life and personality. My cousin paddy had them sewed in Tanzania by a talented local tailor, I love that it was a product made Africa. I'm growing to love this Culotte style I feel like creating more styles, let me know what you think of them and if they would be something you would buy? My navy suede shoes brought elegance and hight for me and I added my maxi duster jacket for a modern edge. I love a bit of all black with a pop of colour. Hope you've had a brilliant week.
