Head scarf - Gifted // Top - Topshop // Culottes - Zara // Shoes - ASOS
Today I had a dream that I reconnected with an old friend I haven't seen for a while, in the dream we sat and talked about what we had been up to and how much we missed each-other. He smiled just like he used to, his eyes lighting up and the creases in his smile making way for his pearly white teeth.
Dreams are like that, they give you hope and a sense of freedom, I personally dream all the time mainly about people, events and needing a wee. This month has been a pretty special one, since I was a little girl I've always wanted to live my dreams, for reality to touch and merge with them, for the first time, it is. I've been working really hard and pushing myself in more ways than I have ever done, by the time I'm home I have sore feet and tired eyes and set my clock for 5am again to do it all tomorrow. What ever your dreams are they are worth fighting for, put in a little extra effort, believe in the magic of life and possibilities, leap from your dream into reality.
Above I'm wearing my favourite pink culottes from Zara, I paired them with a white vest and white cut-out boots for a little edge, I love how headscarfs look so my mum kindly showed me how to tie this one. I started my new internship too as you know I was at AOL for two months and now I'm interning at Ogilvy and Mather - it's great to be learning new things and expanding my creative outlets. Hope you do something you're proud of this week !
Hey beautiful people, I have some exciting news! I just published a blog post on Huffington Post about my hair journey and what I wish I knew before going Natural! You can read it here
Remember what I said about going out of your comfort zone? I feel like I need to pinch myself, let me know what you think <3
After being ill last week i'm happy to be back in full health and kicking butt! It's so funny because we take our health for-granted until we don't have it, so if you are healthy and well take a moment to give some gratitude. Personally I hate having summer flu's so I'm happy to be back at work and creating new content. Here's a photo I made today featuring a future post, I've been learning photoshop - i'm still rusty but thought I'd share this with you. It feels good to be out of my comfort zone and learning something new! If theres anything new you want to try, challenge yourself this week! Go On! Hope you enjoy this weeks playlist!

On this day I met up with a friend for a catch up in Shoreditch, we walked the streets in search for food and found a food market with a garden where there was a Pokemon Go party haha. I have been tempted to get the app but I've heard some crazy stories that put me right off. I digress, we found a bench and I ate my vegan dish (which was sooooo tasty) and we chatted for a while.
It was a warm weekend so I wore my new comfy Zara culottes with a crop top, black Birkenstocks for comfort and my Kimono because I'd be out till sunset. I've been reaching for the simple pieces in my wardrobe and love outfits that are quick to put together so I can go. I'm always in a rush these days.
We walked by this wall of graffiti and I especially loved this quote "There's no budget but it will be great exposure" being an artist I can't tell you how much I've heard that, it's pretty ridiculous but Artists are constantly exploited to work for free.
We ended the night in a Cafe and I had the nicest mango and watermelon smoothie, this has been one of my favourite summers but I'm already counting the days till Halloween and Christmas! Hope you are having a great August <3
Dress - Gifted // Button Down - Vintage // Shoes - Office // Glasses - Asos
On weekends I've been exploring my favourite parts of London, this day I spent the morning in my favourite café FUCKOFFEE on Bermondsey street near London Bridge, I love it in there I sat with my note book and just wrote whilst waiting for my cousin. When she arrived we caught up but we talk everyday so there wasn't much to catch up on haha. Sorry for my resting Bitch face, I was having fun, my face says otherwise haha. I wanted to keep my outfit casual and flexible incase the weather went colder ( I live in London after all), I felt super comfortable in my dress and love the cut out detail on the shoes (super edgy!)
She bought us tickets to watch SOUL a musical about Marvin Gaye by Roy Williams (I don't think I've shared my love for Marvin on here but I Love him) we headed to Hackney where I've spent a lot of time over the last few weeks working on various projects. The show is played at the Hackney Empire, it was great to say the least (I wondered where I was when they were auditioning!). The story line was captivating, I'm not sure if you are familiar with Marvin's death but it highlighted his volatile relationship with his father Marvin Gaye Sr. There was phenomenal singing, a few dance moves, a gospel choir and costumes that made me want to raid a closet from the 50's.
Here's a video I assisted on at work making Vegan Rainbow Meringue's with the Meringue Girls ! Enjoy
